Join the UF Office of Sustainability for their Fall Collection Day! This event makes it easy and convenient to get rid of unwanted household items, hazardous waste, old electronics, furniture, appliances, and non-perishable food items.
Usable items will be donated for use in the community, and damaged goods, hazardous waste, and electronic equipment will be recycled or disposed of safely and responsibly by our partnering organizations. Food donations will benefit the new campus food pantry, Field & Fork.
Collection Day will take place on Wednesday, September 9 from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the southeast corner of the parking lot directly across the street from the Reitz Union Welcome Center on Museum Road.
Their partnering organizations include:
– Haven Hospice Attic
– Alachua County Household & Hazardous Waste Collection
– Field & Fork Food Pantry
